In every company there are special goals. Ambitious or just hugely achievable because there is a new team in place. For many companies, they are an important measure of a successful year. When a team achieves this goal, there is of course nothing better than a nice reward. But the definition of incentive travel goes beyond just a reward. Because it can also be used as a motivation trip to achieve the goal (extra power), an anniversary trip for someone who is/was of great value to your company or a relationship trip. Many companies use the incentive trip to strengthen the bond with their relations or to give them a boost. Or maybe you have a different interpretation of an incentive trip. In any case it is certain that our incentive travel partner will do his utmost to put together a tailor-made package that fits your wishes. Are you ready for it? We wish you a lot of inspiration and hope that we can give you some ideas with the offer below.

An incentive trip is the perfect excuse to finally combine work and pleasure in a responsible way. Because say it yourself: going on an adventure with colleagues at home or abroad sounds just a little more attractive than another PowerPoint session in meeting room 3B, doesn't it? Whether you choose a surprising weekend in the Netherlands or a foreign city trip to cities such as Barcelona, Paris, London, Berlin, Rome or our southern neighbors Antwerp, Ghent, Bruges and Brussels - one thing is certain: it will be unforgettable (and probably a little embarrassing).
Incentive trips are actually the VIP version of a company outing. This is not "we're just going to do something fun because it's Friday," but: you've performed, so pack your suitcase. And that immediately feels different. No half enthusiasm, but colleagues who suddenly respond remarkably quickly to emails as soon as the word "trip" drops.
The idea is simple: good work is rewarded with an experience that you don't normally take lightly. Think of a trip to Barcelona or Lisbon. Sun, good food, beautiful places ... and colleagues who are suddenly very interested in "team activities" as long as there is a terrace nearby.
What makes an incentive trip so special is that everyone knows why they are there. This is not a mandatory outing where someone secretly hopes it will be over quickly. No, here everyone is motivated, enthusiastic and above all: present. Even the colleague who normally never goes along is suddenly up front with his boarding pass.
And then the real work ... or well, "work" begins. An activity during the day, drinks in the afternoon, dinner together in the evening. Sounds relaxing-and it is-but don't underestimate it. Because somewhere along the way, a slight form of competition always develops. Who picks the best restaurant? Who arranges the most fun activity? And who will be first back on the scene the next morning (spoiler: not everyone).
The great thing is that you get to know each other in a totally different way. The quiet colleague suddenly turns out to be the best trip planner. The manager? He turns out to be surprisingly good at letting go-or not, which is just as entertaining. And somewhere there always arises a moment when everyone thinks, "Okay, this is actually quite well organized."
An incentive trip is also about balance. Yes, there is relaxation. But it often includes a program that creates connection. Think about a joint activity, a city game or a workshop. And believe me, even in a sunny destination, a simple task can suddenly become deadly serious.
What you might not expect in advance is how much impact such a trip has. Not only during the trip itself, but also afterwards. Because back at the office you notice it right away: people have stories, inside jokes and a bond you don't build in a conference room.
And maybe that's the biggest difference from a normal company outing. An incentive trip feels like a reward. Like something you've earned. And that makes everything just that much more fun.
In the Netherlands, for example, you can solve the rivalry between departments with a thrilling team building exercise on Forteiland, a sloop rally in Amsterdam or a survival trip in the Veluwe - including mud, laughter and at least one colleague losing his boot in the swamp. Rather cross the border? Barcelona is all about sun, tapas and the art of "meeting" on a terrace with sangria in hand. In Paris, you sample joie de vivre while pretending to understand something about art at the Louvre ("yes, that brushwork is indeed ... uh ... expressive"). London offers British charm, a pub crawl that always ends just a little too late and that one colleague who yells "mind the gap!" all the time. yells.
Berlin is perfect for creative minds: a mix of history, street art and techno that gets even the HR manager in rave mode. And Rome? There you combine teamwork with a culinary mission: eat as much pasta as possible without having to take a siesta. With our southern neighbors, the Burgundian life is never far away. In Antwerp you enjoy pralines and pints, in Ghent you discover that a boat trip on the canals is a lot cozier with karaoke, and in Bruges you imagine yourself in a fairy tale - until someone trips over the cobblestones. And then there's Brussels, where culture, waffles and European bureaucracy come together in a journey full of flavor and confusion ("no, this is not the right entrance to Parliament").
In short: an incentive trip is more than a thank you - it's an adventure full of fun, relaxation and unexpected discoveries. Whether you end with a selfie at the Eiffel Tower, a beer in Berlin or fries with stew in Ghent: the result is always the same.
A closer team, stronger stories and at least one colleague nicknamed "El Professor" from now on.
