But now some valuable tips for your staff outing in the Breda area. Starting with the city of Oosterhout. The name Oosterhout originated from the fact that it lies east of the village of Den Hout. Oosterhout was first mentioned in documents in the 13th century but settlements were already there in prehistoric times. This town is located in the far west of the province of North Brabant (next to the province of Zeeland) with a beautiful city center full of monuments (about 500 monuments) has plenty to offer in terms of company outings.
Do you prefer a city a little closer to Breda? Then go for Etten-Leur. Until 1968 there were 2 towns (Etten and Leur) which quietly grew together to form Etten-Leur. Did you know that national road No. 58 ran right through the center of Etten-Leur? Fortunately for Etten-Leur, this national highway has disappeared and a beautiful new city center has emerged.
